Duo for a Job celebrates its tenth anniversary. The Belgian non-profit association that promotes the socio-professional integration of young people with an immigration background is continuing its international expansion.
Why stop there so well? The question could summarize the state of mind at Duo for a Job. At the time of blowing out its tenth anniversary, the ASBL had 6,000 duos on the clock in Belgium, France, and the Netherlands. A success, no doubt about it. But Frédéric Simonart, CEO and co-founder, prefers to look at the extent of the road ahead, rather than savor its success. The “tandems” of Duo for a Job are engaged in a race against time: the integration of young people from immigration into the labor market. And their CEO insists: “there is an emergency”.
