E.Y.M.B. – Empowering Youth with Migration BackgroundProject description: DUO for a JOB connects young jobseekers with a migration background (the mentees) with experienced individuals aged 50 and above (the mentors). Through one-on-one mentoring, these experienced individuals guide young people in their socio-professional journey, helping them develop skills, build networks, and access employment opportunities. The project aims to support 2,500 young people across multiple European countries by scaling up mentoring programs and launching new branches in France, the Netherlands, and Spain.Duration: November 2024 – October 2026Total Project Cost: €855,192EU Grant Amount: €684,153


IMAJIS — Mentoring Initiative for the Support of Young People in Socioprofessional Integration
Project description: DUO for a JOB brings young job seekers from immigration (mentees) into contact with experienced people over 50 (mentors), so that the latter can support young people in their socio-professional project. The aim of the project is to support 174 young people in Wallonia between 2022 and 2025.

All Inclusive
Project description: Entrepreneurs face numerous challenges, such as supporting employees with health conditions, managing diverse teams, and implementing integration policies... These complex challenges require a multidisciplinary approach. In collaboration with three employers' organizations (UNIZO, VOKA, VERSO) and partners such as Acerta, IDEWE, DUO for a JOB, Emino and The Shift, All Inclusive offers tailor-made solutions for inclusion in the workplace. All Inclusive focuses on job seekers and vulnerable employees, with the aim of transforming inclusion and diversity into strengths and opportunities for businesses. Through sustainable change processes, we ensure culture change and inclusive entrepreneurship in the workplace.

Mentoring for young job seekers‍
Description: DUO for a JOB brings together young jobseekers with an immigrant background (the mentees) with experienced people aged over 50 (the mentors), who will voluntarily provide the young people with their support in defining and implementing their career plans. The aim of the project is to support 400 young people from Brussels every year between 2025 and 2028.Duration: 2025 - 2028Total cost of the project: €3,200,000Amount of EU grant: € 768,000

Ghent Connects

Description: Ghent Connects in Action is a European-funded action plan made to stimulate social participation of newcomers.The city of Ghent, Amal and 5 enthusiastic action partners: De Centrale, Compagnie Cordial, Een Hart Voor Vluchtelingen, Sportaround and DUO for a JOB work together on actions that give newcomers in Ghent the opportunity to build a social network and participate in society.Duration: July 1st 2024 - June 30th 2026Total project costs: €348,073.69EU grant amount:  €257 267,69
