“Duo for a job” is continuing its expansion in Wallonia with the opening of its third branch in Charleroi.
The association “Duo for a Job”, which puts young job seekers with an immigration background in contact with volunteers over 50 years old so that they can support them in their efforts, is opening a new branch in Charleroi.
“This programme is giving real results in the fight against discrimination and in the employment of young people. This is the reason why Wallonia has decided to strengthen the financing of these structures — with a budget of some 380,000 euros, editor's note — and to support the opening, after Liège and Verviers, of a third branch in Charleroi. In total, nearly 850 duos are already ambitious by 2024 with, I hope, as many jobs as possible behind.”, comments the Walloon Minister for Employment, Christie Morreale.
